Did you know I travel to the other islands all the time for sessions?! My favorite way to island hop is Mokulele airlines. They have these little 8-seat hopper planes. No overhead space, no room for rolly bags and you can see the pilots the whole time. I used to be terrified of these little planes, but now I kind of love them. You don’t go as high so my ears aren’t as bothered and for sessions I’ll leave early in the morning and catch the sunrise on the flight. It’s freaking magical. Tips: pack LIGHT! Bring noise-cancelling headphones to drown out the super loud engine noise. Take lots of pictures!
But seriously, my bags are packed! It’s a nominal travel fee for these sessions. Travel fees are calculated based on the cost of travel, accommodations and rental car at the destination so they are different for every island.
