This spot has been one of my most requested this past year. And I’m sure you can see exactly why! Lava rocks, greenery, beautiful ocean. I won’t pretend the blazing sunshine is the easiest lighting to shoot in (my fellow photographers can feel me on this!) but once the sun gets a bit lower in the sky, I can take a deep breath and know Hawaii is going to bring my some prettiness.
I love watching the connections every family has. Sometimes I see little things like certain kids tend to stay closer to mom and dad while others are off running down the beach, eager to explore independently. Some parents are shy and worried while others just blossom once they start seeing their kids having the time of their lives. The personalities are the magic for me and the BEST part of my job.
