Why we love Kihei
Maui always seems to dazzle at sunset. Kihei is my favorite area of the island for sessions on Maui – the clouds, the sunset – it’s all magical. Looking for a great place to eat near Kihei? For breakfast we love Kihei Caffe. Grab a few breakfast plates and head to the beach to enjoy the ocean while you start your day.
This family was a blast from start to finish. One of those sessions where you could feel the love and warmth from every shot. And that’s saying a lot because it was 95º and SUNNY. Relentless sunshine. It’s hard to complain about sunshine, but my fellow photographers know that all that sun means creative camera angles and constant sweat wiping to avoid shiny faces.

In the end – it’s all worth it though. To know our team helped create memories that this family will never forget. It’s so important to capture not only your entire family, but all of the special relationships that make up your family as well.
My favorite part of the job is getting to know everyone’s personalities and help bring those out in your pictures. These are your memories after all! So besides dancing, we’ll get the wiggles out, run across the beach, stop to admire the birds that swing by to say hi during your shoot – and SO much more. All of this to ensure that besides walking away with gorgeous photos, you’ll always fondly remember your photoshoot with me.
