I am still learning a lot about the sunsets and skies here in Waikoloa. Here’s what I know so far: even if you see rain clouds over the mountains, the beach most likely still has clear skies. Cloudy skies make for the MOST beautiful sunsets. Sometimes, nature just shows off and you get spoiled with soft, pink cotton candy clouds and beautiful families.
The Z family met me at the beach for their sunset family portrait session. Their little one took some coaxing to get into the photo spirit (don’t worry parents, most kiddos need some extra time to figure things out!). Thank goodness mom and dad were super smart and brought along Elmo who helped us get some genuine joy and lights from this little dude.
I still stare at these beautiful pictures and smile at how stunning the sunset was that night. I can only hope every sunset I see on the Big Island is just as beautiful for my clients!
