Ready for a hit of truth? If you are looking for perfection in your photos, honestly… I simply cannot offer it. But here’s my question for you – if I asked you right now how you’d describe your family, what would you say? Maybe you’d say fun and loving. Or close knit, tender, affectionate. Would you every say perfect? And if you did, would you mean that you all did not have your own human flaws and imperfection?
It took me a while to realize that my kinds of clients are the ones who are down to embrace the beautiful messiness of life and everyday moments. Who aren’t chasing perfection, but are chasing JOY. So if the most important thing to you in your family photos is that every single hair is in place and no one gets sand on their clothes, we may not be right for each other.
You see, I’m ALL about the imperfect. The imperfect is beautiful and honest. The imperfect is where life happens. Life isn’t perfect but that doesn’t mean it can’t be absolutely joyful nonetheless. Agree or disagree?
