Hey friends! After doing this for years and years, I decided to jot down the three most important things you need to tell your photographer before your photoshoot to ensure a successful session. You ready?
1. If you have “side” or not. If there is a side you prefer to be photographed on, let me know so I can pose and position you in a way you’ll love.
2. Anything you’re self-conscious about. Hate your arms? Worried about your watch tan? If you want help hiding problem areas, you have to tell me what they are first so we can partner on a plan!
3. The “must-have” shot. When you close your eyes and envision your photo session, what image comes to mind. How does it feel? How does it make you feel? What kind of shot would you want to print BIG and display in your house? What sort of image are you hoping to get for holiday cards?
At the end of the day, I want you to love your images and if you don’t love how you look or if the images don’t get close to the vision you had in your head, I simply haven’t done my job.
