How lucky am I to have the kind of job that lets me get in touch with friends from High School at the most exciting time in her life?! SO LUCKY.
Frances was a great friend to me back in our HS days in Hawaii. We lived not too far from each other and we had so many friends and activities in common. One of the highlights of my school life was doing Moot Court with Frances. (Similar to mock trial, but it’s just two people arguing real Supreme Court cases to REAL judges! It was amazing and we even won a few awards together!).
We spent the day at the Santa Monica Pier which was crazy. Crazy crazy. I had a few moments of panic as I tried to figure out how I was going to capture an intimate feel with literally thousands of people around. But I found an ideal spot right by the water and we spent most of our time there. Phew. Trey and Frances were both such great troopers as we dealt with LA traffic and crowds together. I love doing engagement sessions because I get to really learn how a couple is in front of the camera and what I can do better to help make them relax. I got a few tricks up my sleeve after this session. And I can’t wait for their wedding this summer!!
