Waikoloa Babymoon Photographers – Tropical Haku and Gorgeous Colors

You really can’t blame me for always overshooting during a maternity session. Once I get you in that golden light, cradling your beautiful bump and savoring the moment, I just click click click because I get so dang excited.

Since having a baby myself and doing my own maternity session (shot by my awesome husband because we couldn’t get a photographer #thankscovid) I’ve gone into maternity sessions with a whole new mindset.

Now? I spend a few meaningful minutes really asking the mom-to-be how she’s feeling. Like, how are you REALLY feeling? No one told me that it was okay to not love every single second of my pregnancy. In fact, on the hard days and the days I wished to be done being pregnant, I felt like a failure and a bad mom. So when I see a pregnant mom who is tired and feeling down, I’m focused on making sure you know you’re beautiful and freaking amazing and doing an incredible thing. Because you are. You really are.

ps. This dress is new to my client closet because I loved photographing it SO much I knew I had to have it for myself to offer to all my babymooners!

Are you planning a Big Island Hawaii Babymoon? Let me capture your maternity trip to Hawaii with a stunning sunrise or sunset photo session on one of the beautiful beaches on the island. I’d love to capture memories you’ll cherish forever!
