Surprise Proposal in Hawaii – Planning Tips
If you’re planning a surprise proposal in Hawaii, I have some tips to make sure everything is really, truly picture-perfect for your photographer (and YOU) when it comes to capturing the big moment.
Tips for Planning a surprise proposal in Hawaii
1. Practice taking the ring box out of your pocket so you’ll feel confident doing that when it comes to the big moment.
2. Stay down on your knee for WAY longer than your instincts might tell you. The longer you are on your knee, the more chances I have to capture the moment from every angle.
3. Make a reservation at a nice restaurant and use this as a decoy to keep your plans a surprise (we love CanoeHouse at the Mauna Lani or Ulu Ocean Grill at the Four Seasons Hualalai on the Big Island). This will make sure you are both looking sharp, and your partner will be camera-ready without tipping them off.
