Sunset Beach Couples Session on the Big Island
Pro-tip for you engaged people looking to get married in Hawaii: schedule a special session at the beach separate from your wedding day. The wedding day is just so hectic that even if you block time out for couples portraits, it won’t be the same because you’ll know in the back of your mind that your guests, delicious food and music is waiting for you all!
And I say this as a married girl and photographer who when it came to sunset portraits at my own wedding, was super over it after 5 minutes. I just wanted to party with my friends and family!! I was so surprised that I felt this way but I think it is completely normal. This is another reason a session on a day besides your wedding day is a huge bonus. I promise you won’t regret it!
And now introducing the stunning Lori and Alex! They got married at the incredible Sunshower Farms venue here on the Big Island which I had the honor of photographing. But first, we met up a few days before at the beach to capture their love in a much more intimate setting. It was a romantic, fun, quiet, beautiful night and I know they were so glad to not only have had that time together but the pictures as well. A forever keepsake of the two of them just a few short days before becoming Mr. & Mrs.!
