Polynesian Cultural Center

Waikiki Aquarium
Of course there is wild life everywhere in Hawaii, but as a respectful visitor, you should always keep your distance. That means no touching turtles, give monk seals lots and lots of space, and in general, letting nature just be. But if you are hoping for a more hands-on and up close look into the ocean animals that make Hawaii unique, dive into the fascinating underwater world with your kids at Waikiki Aquarium, home to a variety of marine life and interactive exhibits. Dole Plantation
A bit of a tourist attraction, but to be honest, I spent a lot of my weekends as a high-schooler growing up on Oahu here with my friends to grab some dole whip on our way to the North Shore beaches. It’s very kid-friendly and an easy stop on the way to or from the beach. Have a pineapple-filled adventure at Dole Plantation, where families can enjoy the Pineapple Express Train Tour and the world’s largest maze. Sea Life Park Hawaii
Get up close and personal with marine animals through interactive shows, educational programs, and thrilling exhibits at Sea Life Park.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Hanauma Bay, a protected marine life conservation area with vibrant coral reefs and a variety of fish. One of our favorite kid-friendly Oahu activities. This beach is very calm and an easy snorkel spot for beginners of all ages. Tickets are now required to reduce over-crowding and ensure the safety of the animals and the reef. Website: Hanauma Bay
