Our typical rainy winter weather is finally gone and March has been so wonderfully sunny! I love Hawaii in February because it’s usually pretty quiet around in terms of visitors. But the trade-off is all the rain we get. In Waikoloa, we rarely get rain all year but most of our rain comes in February. Crazy!
Anyway, with the sunshine comes the bright, light-filled sessions that I love so much. Bring it on! This sweet family was one of my Covid reschedules. This past year of not knowing when they’d get back to Hawaii and checking in on each other has been so stressful. But all of the communication helped me really get to know them before we had a chance to work together. I knew mom to be genuinely sweet and kind as we both navigated those first few weeks of Covid and not knowing what would happen with their plans to come back to the Big Island and me with my business. Also wild for me to think that when we first booked this session I was pregnant and by the time we met to do the actual session, our girl was nearly 7 months old!
We had such a great, carefree time together. Their sweet girl certainly had a mind of her own and was very interested in exploring the rocks, sand, and lava more than posing for me. And you know what? That was totally okay! We followed her lead and ended up with a gorgeous gallery!
