Our team LOVES working at the beach near the Hilton Waikoloa. Firstly, it is more of a typical Big Island beach. That means a rocky shoreline and not easy for swimming but great for exploring tide pools, walking out on the lava rocks and watching the sailboats go past at sunset. Because it is not a popular beach, it is usually empty. Ideal conditions for a Waikoloa family photo session at the beach!
Oh and did I mention the gorgeous palms lining the back of the beach! Though not ideal for very young kids or anyone with trouble walking – there is SO much to love about this beach near the Hilton Waikoloa Village.
Location, location, location!
This cute little beach is right next to the Hilton and is perfect if you’re staying at the HWV for your Big Island vacation! Especially if you don’t plan on getting a rental car while visiting the Big Island, finding a location within walking distance makes it easier for everyone! And bonus, no extra long car rides for little ones when you select a location close to where you’re staying!
