No two sessions — just like no two sunsets — are ever alike. I really pride myself on the fact that I adapt to you and your family; I follow your lead. I want to capture who you really are… I don’t want to put you into poses that I copied off someone else’s Pinterest board. Will every photo be centered and will everyone be facing the camera in every shot? Heck no! Will that make the photo better? You better believe it.
Case in point – this beautiful family and especially these fantastic girls who just wanted to run and jump along the beach. And I was happy to run and laugh right alongside them! We made sure to get those classic “Christmas card” shots right at the beginning so the pressure is off for the rest of the session and we can run and play without worry. Just how I like it. And I find kids respond really well to not needing to “stay still and smile” for an entire hour. Once they know that I want them to have fun, they are more than happy to do so!
