Hapuna Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii is one of the best beaches in the world, and it’s easy to see why. The white sand beach stretches out for miles, and the crystal clear water just begs you to take a dip. This is the perfect spot for beachgoers of all ages. Most of the year, the waves are gentle and the swimming is safe. Keep an eye out of winter swells though! (And this goes for all Hawaii beaches from December through early February!). Hapuna Beach is also a great spot for families. There are plenty of activities to entertain the kids, including sandcastle building, swimming, and exploring the tide pools. There is also a lifeguard on duty to ensure everyone’s safety.
