My first year in business, the number 1 question I got from clients was “where should we do our session”. This frequent question was the catalyst for the birth of my client location guide. Instead of awkward back and forth emails, google map links and random internet photos – I wanted to put together something sophisticated and simple to help clients see their location options.
My signature session locations are places that I’ve specifically chosen because of how well they photograph, the lighting, and how busy they typically are (or aren’t!). Some places might work better for families, while others are better for couples or maternity clients. I also have spots that I recommend for sunrise and some for sunset.
I also have a list of specific locations that I will not bring small children to because of the unpredictable nature of the tides or dangerous lava rocks. I think it’s my responsibility to not only get the best shots of your family when you’re here but also take care of you and make sure everyone’s safe.
