The final countdown

We’re down to the wire folks! I’ve only got 2.5 weeks left in Chicago, my home for the past 4 years. I was pretty sure that I’d be overwhelmed sadness and uncertainty, but I’ve found that what I’m feeling is more like excitement, eagerness and a “omg I just want to be there already” feeling. Eeeeeeeeek!

My sweet love will be here in 2 weeks to help with the final sprint of cleaning, packing and getting everything into a truck and then I think I’ll be taking the longest, deepest breath in the history of ever. There’s a manic energy that comes from living amongst boxes and packing tape that I can’t wait to be done with. I’m sure I’ve been giving off a total crazy person vibe because who can think about lunch when there are closets and kitchens to pack! See… manic. 

I know that once I’m in California, a whole knew world of challenges will be waiting for me, and that’s okay! I can’t wait. I really, genuinely can’t wait. I have so many ideas for where to take my photography business and more importantly, ways to help myself become excited and engaged again in this passion that got away from me for a while. Oh, the possibilities….
