I’m in the middle of trying to plan out a quick trip to Japan with my sister and husband. Three people. Three people and we’ve already hit our fair share of planning hiccups and missteps. Three people! So I can’t imagine the work it takes to plan a vacation with a large, extended family. Especially to Hawaii!
Hats off to anyone out there working on planning this right now. It isn’t easy and… if we’re being honest… isn’t always fun. The planning stage that is. But I know that once your feet touch the ground in Kona and you walk off the airplane and that warm Hawaiian air hits your face, you’ll know it was worth it. Fact: In Kona you walk right out onto the tarmac to get off the planes – our cute little airport doesn’t have those fancy bridge ways!
And while you’re here, you might as well get some photos to celebrate everyone being all together, right?! There are no down sides to capturing your whole crew enjoying Hawaii together. And the amount of planning and coordination it takes to get an extended family to Hawaii is *absolutely* worth it. If you’ve been thinking about whether or not to do it, just do it
