Post-COVID, the rules regarding outside commercial photographers for Koolina changed. We can no longer get a permit to photograph the beach/lagoons that front the resort. They are considered “man-made” and unavailable for permits via the State and County. (And no, we won’t just do it and hope we don’t get in trouble—sorry!).
The good news is that there is a beautiful beach spot within walking distance of most of the hotels – showcased in this blog post! The beach is stunning, and we LOVE doing sessions here at sunrise to beach the crowds. If you’re up for the walk – we’ll meet you there and start your morning with beachy sunshine!
