Waikoloa Beach Family Photos
Most of our signature photo session locations are in Waikoloa. Why? Because this part of the island only gets 12″ of rain a year! That means a WHOLE lot of sunshine. So when it comes to photo sessions, Waikoloa beach family photos are our hands down favorite.
Waikoloa is one of those areas of the Big Island that people don’t seem to know about yet. There isn’t a lot of name recognition (not like “Kona”!), and to be honest, we like it that way. Our sleepy, sunny, hot corner of the Big Island is such a gem. Home to some of the most beautiful beaches AND sunsets in Hawaii. When I bought my house in Waikoloa many years ago, I did it almost on a whim. My husband and I had visited this part of the island less than five times, but there was just something about this area that felt right.

When to Book Waikoloa Beach Family Photos
We book photo sessions year-round! There really isn’t an off-season for Hawaii, but November through January and the summer months are our busiest months. If you are planning a Hawaii vacation and want to book a Hawaii photographer during those months, I strongly recommend reaching out at least 3 months in advance.
