Rio Acai Bakersfield, CA – YELP Event

Yes, I am in fact blogging anoooooother yummy YELP event! I really do love these events. They’re such an awesome way to meet people in the community, network with small business and, best of all, taste some DELICIOUS foods. Best part of this gig? The discovery of poke in Bakersfield. Real ono-kine poke that reminds me of the kind we used to get at Foodland in Hawaii before skipping off for a day at the beach. I am drooling thinking about it. 

Oh, and the açaí! It was creamy and sweet and just as refreshing as you’d imagine. The toppings were all incredibly fresh, too! We sampled a few different of their bowls and there wasn’t a single one I didn’t love. Give me an Acai Bowl and a Poke Bowl and this Hawaiian girl is SET. Mmmmm.
